Turnkey Website for a Naturopath β Brief, Design, Development & Hosting
Jean-Christophe Lambert is a naturopath based in Hazebrouck. He only had a Facebook page and needed a proper online presence to attract new clients. I handled everything β understanding the brief, analysing the market, designing on Figma, building the site and setting up hosting. The client was so happy he recommended me to other people.
01 Client Brief
Jean-Christophe came to me with a clear need: his only online presence was a Facebook page, and that wasn't enough to be found or to come across as credible to new clients. He needed a real website where people could understand what naturopathy is, learn about his approach, see his pricing and book an appointment directly. No previous site β we started from scratch.
02 My Approach
Before designing anything, I looked at what other naturopaths and wellness practitioners were doing online β what worked, what was too cluttered, what was missing. That analysis shaped the direction: calm, readable, reassuring. Then I built a mockup on Figma and showed it to Jean-Christophe before touching any code.
03 What the Site Does
Clients can book directly from the site, without needing to call or message on Facebook. That was one of the main requests β make it as easy as possible to get an appointment.
A dedicated section explains who Jean-Christophe is and what naturopathy actually involves. A lot of people don't know what to expect β the goal was to answer that before they even pick up the phone.
Pricing is displayed clearly, without making people go hunting for it. It's one of the first things potential clients look for β so it's right there.
Jean-Christophe didn't have to worry about anything technical. I handled domain, hosting, deployment β he just had to share the link.
04 Performance
The site is coded in pure HTML/CSS/JS β no CMS, no unnecessary plugins. That choice was made from the start because the content wouldn't change much, and it's the cleanest way to get a fast, lightweight site.
95/100 PageSpeed score β fast load time, good Core Web Vitals, clean code. Important for a local business that needs to show up on Google.
100% responsive β the site works perfectly on mobile, which is where most local searches happen.
05 Key Takeaways
Working with a real client means understanding what they actually need β not just what they say they want. Jean-Christophe said "a website". What he needed was something that builds trust and removes friction before the first appointment.
Showing a Figma mockup before coding saved time for everyone β the client could react to the design before it was built, not after.
The best sign the project went well: Jean-Christophe recommended me to other people. That's the kind of outcome that matters more than any metric.
